Associate Attorney (0-4 Years Experience)

Kansas City, MO

We're looking for a recent law school graduate or attorney with 0–4 years of experience who has a genuine interest in civil litigation and representing plaintiffs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience, work closely with experienced trial attorneys, and make a meaningful impact on cases at all stages-- from intake to resolution.

Unlike many litigation firms, we do not have a billable hour requirement. Our focus is on developing outstanding attorneys, providing exceptional client representation, and achieving results—not meeting billing quotas.

Responsibilities:

Assist with all phases of civil litigation, including employment, civil rights, personal injury, and other plaintiff-side matters
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials with opportunities for increasing responsibility
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex litigation and class action matters

What We're Looking For:

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Missouri bar license or pending admission (Kansas license is a plus)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Interest in civil litigation and plaintiff-side advocacy
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
