Description:
We are hiring an Attorney - Commercial Litigation (2 - 4 Years of Experience) to become a member of our trial team! As a part of our team, you will directly represent clients in trials in Federal and State Court. First Chair or Second Chair trial experience required.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in State and Federal Courts in a wide array of Commercial Litigation matters
- Direct contact with clients
- You will take depositions immediately
- You will try cases with witness responsibility
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in law
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas
- Experience in litigation and trial advocacy is preferred
