Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, business and corporate law (transactions and/or litigation), and Family Law, with a strong proficiency in case analysis, trial preparation, and legal writing. Litigation experience is almost indispensable.
Duties:
- Manage and prioritize matters, appointments, and hearings to comply with deadlines
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
- Draft legal documents, including legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Provide legal advice and guidance on complex legal issues
- Construct legal arguments
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas
- Engage in networking activities to originate clients and promote the firm
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Proven experience in litigation and trial advocacy
- Strong research and writing skills
- Minimum 1+ years' in Family Law, Litigation or Trial experience
- Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
