Mid-size Northwest New Jersey law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our busy and growing firm. Ideal candidate will receive excellent training and positive mentoring although candidate shall be expected to work independently to meet deadlines. Candidate is expected to work at the firm's main office.Primary Areas of Practice:
- General Litigation
- Municipal/Government Law
- Insurance Defense
- Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
- Legal research and drafting memorandums, briefs and discovery documents
- Attendance at client meetings, court proceedings and administrative proceedings
- Work independently on assigned matters
Qualifications:
- Admitted in New Jersey
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
- Highly motivated with strong interest in generating new business
