Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients across various areas of law. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and statutory interpretation.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage personal injury cases, family law matters, estate planning documents, and other litigation files from inception through resolution.
- Prepare for and assist in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and client meetings.
- Maintain organized case files using legal case management systems and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Stay current on evolving laws across multiple practice areas including environmental law, tribal regulations, employment law, securities law, and more.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation, contract drafting, legal research, and motion preparation.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents.
- Knowledge of procedural law and statutory research methods.
- Experience handling personal injury cases or family law matters is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
