As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting and serving complaints, answering discovery. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other resources
- Assist with legal drafting, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Prepare and review legal documents
- Attend client meetings and court hearings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice to clients on various matters
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in PA
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks
- Experience with litigation and courtroom procedures
Skills:
- Proficient in Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal research purposes
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information for cases
- Legal drafting abilities to prepare accurate and comprehensive legal documents
