Duties:
As an Associate Attorney, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
- Drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
- Representing clients in negotiations and litigation.
- Advising clients on their rights and obligations under the law, ensuring they are informed throughout the legal process.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases.
- Maintaining organized case files and documentation within the law office environment.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to your practice areas.
Experience:
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association or eligibility for admission.
- Experience or coursework in estate planning, family law, and criminal law is preferred.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing skills for effective legal drafting and communication.
