Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team, bringing energy and expertise across a broad spectrum of practice areas. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools to support case strategies across multiple practice areas of the law
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions, and developing case strategies.
  • Participate in court depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Negotiate settlements and legal terms on behalf of clients with professionalism and strategic insight.
  • Maintain organized case files and proactively identify issues and solutions

Experience:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • 1–3 years of legal experience preferred, including litigation, clerkship, or relevant law-firm experience; strong newer attorneys will be considered.
  • Interest or experience in commercial and business litigation, civil litigation, family law, and/or criminal law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Florida court procedures.
  • Ability to assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, legal research, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters.
  • Professional, dependable, and responsive, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned matters.
  • Ability to work independently while also working closely with senior attorneys and the firm's support staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, respectful approach to working with attorneys, staff, clients, and opposing counsel.
