Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for family law and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. - Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, dissolution, child custody and parenting time, child/spousal support, paternity, step-parent adoption, pre/post nuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, and protection orders.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to strategize and develop case strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Ohio state bar and in good standing.
- 1-3 years of experience practicing family law preferred, but recent graduates with a strong interest in family law are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and service.
