Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Ohio Bar Association
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in Domestic Relations/Family Law
- Experience litigating cases is a plus
- Proficiency in conducting legal research
- Highly organized and comfortable handling multiple cases at once
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Good attention to detail when conducting legal research and drafting pleadings
- Ability to commute/relocate to Columbus, Ohio 43201 before starting work
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement documents.
- Conduct legal research in a variety of family law contexts.
- Prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, such as final and pretrial hearings, case management/status conferences, and settlement negotiations.
- Meet with clients as needed to discuss case details and next steps
