  • Manage a diverse caseload of business litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to business disputes.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting document review, and preparing witnesses for deposition.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various business-related matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments, regulations, and case law impacting business litigation.
  • Assist senior attorneys in mentoring and training junior associates and legal staff.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Ohio and in good standing.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience practicing law with a focus on business litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic legal team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
  • Prior experience in drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and trial experience preferred but not required.
