Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case development and legal strategies
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents including discovery, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions, and supporting courtroom proceedings
- Manage case files efficiently using legal case management software to ensure timely work product
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and gather necessary information for ongoing litigation or negotiations
- Prepare for court depositions by reviewing case facts, developing questions, and coordinating logistical details with involved parties
Skills:
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis platform for statutory and case law analysis
- Proven ability in legal writing including drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and client correspondence
- Excellent negotiation skills demonstrated through successful settlement discussions or contractual negotiations
- Familiarity with court depositions process and trial preparation techniques
- Knowledge of procedural laws across different jurisdictions with attention to detail in case management
- Effective communication skills with a professional yet approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards in a fast-paced environment
- No experience required.
- NJ Law License required
- PA Law License an added bonus, but not required.
