Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. As an integral member of our firm, the Associate Attorney will collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to handle a wide range of litigation matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent legal acumen, and a passion for advocating on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues relevant to ongoing litigation cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for submission to courts and opposing parties.
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to provide updates and obtain necessary information.
- Assist with case management tasks, including organizing and maintaining case files, calendars, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay updated on changes in the law, legal trends, and developments in relevant practice areas.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado
- 3+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
