Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve.

We have an immediate opening in our Los Angeles or Oakland offices, as well as our virtual office, The Link, for a Data Privacy Litigation Associate with three to four years of experience preferred. Candidates should reside in California and have an active California bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation, including conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, preparing pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, engaging in settlement negotiations, and communicating with clients. The candidate should have experience with California-specific data privacy litigation matters, including CIPA and CCPA. Experience with arbitration and class actions is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is $220,000 to $240,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
