We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in business litigation, excellent writing and research skills, and a commitment to client service.Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Prepare for and participate in pretrials, discovery practice, motion practice, trials, and hearings.
- Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of NYSCEF and PACER.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the New York Bar in good standing.
- 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or legal department.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
