We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! Smith Law Firm is small firm (currently 3 attorneys) located in Baton Rouge. We represent clients (primarily plaintiffs) in a wide range of areas in both state and federal court. The primary focus of our work is employment law, employment related civil rights, and personal injury.We are looking for a full-time associate to join our firm. Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
- Works with clients
- Prefer previous experience in law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic record required
- Depends on experience
