Description:
The position is for an associate attorney who will manage litigation cases, conduct legal research, engage in discovery, and assist in the resolution of legal disputes on behalf of clients. The candidate will also draft and negotiate contracts, communicate routinely with clients, and provide other support for senior associates and shareholders. This individual will be required to provide an excellent customer experience for clients.Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to clients and assist attorneys
- Draft discovery requests, analyze discovery responses, and take depositions
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Argue motions and exceptions in court and before administrative bodies
- Maintain client relationships
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in good standing in Louisiana
- Strong writing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Good base of legal knowledge
