Responsibilities:

Design simple to complex Estate Planning packages that honor clients' needs & wishes, utilizing Lipman's Westlaw and Wealth Counsel from scratch for personalized and complex estates.
Review and draft comprehensive estate planning packages, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options.
Discuss plans with clients concerning incapacity, Medicaid planning, and distributing assets.
Conduct initial consultations for estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning clientele, as necessary.
Must be comfortable with contemporaneously tracking and documenting time electronically.
Attend court hearings and oversee paralegal work on a wide range of probate, guardianship, and trust matters.
Communicate & engage with clients meeting in-person and virtually.
Proofread and write general and complex legal correspondence with clients.
Documentation and process systemization of drafting wills and trusts.
Have a strategic and results-oriented approach to solving Clients' problems and communicating the same to Clients in an approachable and understandable manner.

Qualifications:

Actively licensed in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Minimum five years of estate planning, probate, and guardianship experience.
Exceptional legal research and writing skills with a strong analytical aptitude.
Demonstrated presentation skills & a natural ability to engage with clients respectfully & confidently.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $110,000 yearly
