Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated defense litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is ready to take on substantive responsibility while continuing to develop their litigation skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage defense litigation matters from inception through resolution, primarily in insurance defense and trucking/transportation litigation
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
- Work independently while collaborating with partners and support staff
Practice Areas:
- Insurance defense (auto, general liability, premises liability)
- Trucking and transportation defense
- Commercial litigation

Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 3-5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or civil litigation strongly preferred)
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

- Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating with team
