Position Overview:
The Lobb Law Firm is seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of personal injury experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, and dog bite claims, and will be eager to take ownership of cases while continuing to grow as a trial-ready attorney.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of personal injury matters through every aspect of litigation
Handle cases involving auto accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites
Conduct thorough case investigations, including reviewing police reports, medical records, photographs, witness statements, and other evidence
Work with clients, experts, and investigators to develop liability and damages
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement demands
Negotiate claims with insurance carriers and defense counsel
Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances as needed
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as a team player
Maintain regular and compassionate communication with clients
Ensure compliance with all ethical and professional standards

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and in good standing with the Michigan Bar
1–3 years of experience in personal injury law (required)
Experience investigating and litigating auto accident, premises liability, and dog bite cases
Strong legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support firm goals
Excellent communication and client-service skills
