Seeking full-time Associate Attorney for ILG Legal Office PC, an elite civil litigation law firm in South San Francisco focusing on employment law. Most of our clients are plaintiffs, but we also represent defendants. To be considered, please complete the following steps:

Required Credentials

Licensed attorney in California in good standing with the Bar
At least two years of civil litigation experience (as an attorney or paralegal) in any field using the California Code of Civil Procedure.
Significant Experience defending depositions
Some experience taking/conducting depositions (i.e., conducted a minimum of 3 depositions)
Interest in a long-term career in civil litigation focusing on employment law
Courage and willingness to complete challenging new tasks such as a first trial or other event.

Preferred Credentials

At least three years of civil litigation experience as an attorney in California
Trial experience

Civil litigation law firm focuses on individual and class action employment cases on behalf of workers or employers. Many of our cases are single-person claims such as retaliation, discrimination, or harassment, while other cases are large class actions. www.ilglegal.com. We currently have two offices in buildings next door to each other: 180 South Spruce Avenue, Suite 165, South San Francisco, CA 94080 and 156 South Spruce Avenue, Unit 206A, South San Francisco, CA 94080.

We currently have one Associate Attorney but are very busy and need a second Associate Attorney. The person hired will be responsible for managing almost all aspects of employment lawsuits on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.

We are looking for someone with a desire to become a skilled trial lawyer. The owner was recently named one of the Top Employment Lawyers in California by the LA/SF Daily Journal. ILG Legal provides excellent client service and superb training.

The field of employment law, particularly for a law firm like us who can actually take a case to trial, can be some of the most exciting and rewarding work in the legal field. We work on high profile cases and including class actions against some of the largest corporations in the country.

Telecommuting will be permitted most days other than court appearances or deposition activities and occasional in-person meetings at our office in South San Francisco, California.

Compensation: Up to $100,000.00 base salary (depending on Experience), medical/dental/vision insurance, two weeks paid vacation, payment of bar dues and MCLE courses.
