Growing law firm in Orange County, practicing plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks a employment litigation attorney as an independent contractor to assist with assignments and appearances. The firm has a robust caseload against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Focusing on the prosecution of employment and consumer class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and other employment matters. The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of civil litigation experience with a proficiency in most aspects of civil litigation including legal research, discovery, motion practice, conducting depositions, experience making court appearances and trial preparation.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Proficiency with Lexis, Westlaw, and Trellis
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
  • Admission to the State Bar of California
