We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse legal practice areas, including franchise and business, intellectual property (trademarks), litigation, contracts, estate planning, probate, business formations, nonprofits, partnership disputes, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, conducting research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, drafting legal documents, and litigation. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough legal research across various practice areas using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, negotiations, and trials by organizing case files and summarizing key information.
  • Support client meetings by providing clear explanations of legal options for their matter.
  • Manage case files efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal administrative procedures and deadlines.
  • Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel or parties to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas such as securities law, tribal law, or land use policies.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
  • 2-5 years experience
  • Demonstrated experience or coursework in business law, contracts, estate planning, or other specified practice areas.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms; ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.
  • Excellent writing skills with a proven ability to draft precise legal documents and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with litigation processes and legal procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Legal administrative experience including managing case files and maintaining detailed records.
  • Effective negotiation skills with a positive attitude toward client advocacy and problem-solving.
