Description:

I'm looking for a part-time Associate Attorney (approximately 20–30 hours/week) to join my practice and work with me on complex, high-stakes civil and business litigation matters. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work mostly remote, with occasional in-person meetings or court appearances as needed.

About the role:
You will work directly with lead trial counsel on sophisticated matters including:
  • Fraud and breach of fiduciary duty
  • Partnership and LLC disputes
  • Real estate litigation
  • Derivative actions
  • Contract and business tort cases

This is hands-on, substantive litigation work — briefs, discovery, depositions, hearings, strategy — not document review or busywork. You will have meaningful responsibility and direct impact on case outcomes.

What I'm Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of civil/business litigation experience (more is welcome)
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, and developing case strategy
  • Must be licensed in California and comfortable in California state courts
  • Organized, responsive, and able to work independently
  • Someone who takes pride in producing highly polished, persuasive work
