Description:
Role Description:As an Associate Attorney at A Law Firm, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day legal activities, including but not limited to, providing legal advice and support to cllients, conducting legal research, negotiating settlements, drafting legal pleadings, and representing clients in court. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Portland, Oregon with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the law, with a focus on family and divorce law in Oregon
- Ability to provide sound and compassionate legal advice and support to clients with an emphasis on client service
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Ability to draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in representing clients in court proceedings
- Bar admission in Oregon or ability to waive into the Oregon Bar
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Experience in Oregon family law is a plus
