Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in or an interest in labor and employment law and litigation in matters relating to the representation of municipal employers and small businesses. Work will include legal research and drafting of legal opinions and other legal documents. A candidate with an interest in small business acquisition and other matters relating to the representation of small businesses, including lease negotiations; employee discipline; employee investigations; and severance negotiations is encouraged to apply. This position has the potential for direct client contact after a reasonable period of demonstrated competence and client rapport.

This position is hybrid in that it will involve work in the office setting, as well as travel to municipal clients, and some remote work opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support to clients and assist owner and senior level associate.
  • Maintain client relationships

Qualifications:
  • J.D.
  • 0 - 5 years experience in practice of law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong legal knowledge
