We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience in Medical Malpractice Defense. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a high level of productivity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for honing their litigation skills, including conducting depositions, appearing in court, meeting with clients, and collaborating with expert witnesses.Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of medical malpractice defense matters
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
- Collaborate with senior partners to strategize and execute case objectives.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in New York State
- Minimum of three years of experience in Medical Malpractice Defense
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
