A Full Service Civil Litigation Firm is seeking an associate attorney with two or more years of civil litigation experience – we are looking for an attorney that loves the fast-paced and detail-oriented challenge of civil litigation but is looking for a change of culture. Cousineau Malone is a mid-sized insurance defense firm located in Minnetonka that practices in all areas of civil litigation defense.Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Minnesota and have strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational, writing, and verbal, communication skills. Courtroom and deposition experience required (time spent as a law clerk qualifies). Trial or arbitration experience is a plus. We are looking for more than just a legal researcher and writer; candidates must be good with people and pragmatic. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple cases and assignments with a high degree of independence. Cousineau Malone is interested in a candidate with the ability to balance and prioritize a variety of tasks and to succeed in a deadline-oriented environment as well as the ability to self-start and problem-solve. Candidates licensed to practice law solely in Wisconsin may be considered if they are agreeable to adding Minnesota licensure.
