Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will handle a diverse range of legal matters, including employment law, general litigation defense, insurance defense and more. Your expertise will support our firm's mission to deliver comprehensive legal solutions while fostering professional growth. For members of the bar, there is a potential to share in equity on cases.

Duties:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
  • Manage a varied caseload across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation law.
  • Assist in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Prepare for and participate in litigation proceedings, including court appearances and depositions.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar or eligibility for admission within a specified timeframe.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in practicing employment law, or related fields.
  • Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Legal administrative experience preferred but not required; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential. Need to be proficient in MS Office and have a Windows computer. Pay: From $50.00 per hour
