Role Description:This is a full-time Associate Attorney role at A Chicago Municipal Defense Litigation Attorney We are seeking a passionate attorney to join our team with 4+ years of relevant experience in litigation to handle and assist with high profile cases at both the trial and appellate level. Applicants should be comfortable working with law enforcement and possess an interest in constitutional law and government work. The role is primarily based in Chicago, IL, but offers flexibility for some remote work. Our firm prides itself on its collegial atmosphere. Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in federal practice, Section 1983 experience preferred but not required
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and write persuasively
- Trial and deposition experience preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission
