Description:

About the role:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney (1–3 years experience preferred) to join our established and growing practice.

This position is ideal for a newer attorney looking for hands-on experience, meaningful mentorship, and rapid professional growth in practice areas that are both highly marketable and financially resilient.

While real estate litigation and bankruptcy will be the primary focus areas of this particular role, we are absolutely open to training the right candidate in new practice areas - including foreclosure defense, real estate litigation, transactions, short sales, quiet title, and partition matters. If you are intelligent, organized, hungry to learn, and willing to take ownership of your cases, we are willing to invest heavily in your development.

This is not a back-office research role. You will work directly with clients, attend court, handle hearings, strategize with experienced attorneys, and quickly gain real-world litigation and negotiation experience that many associates at larger firms don't receive until much later in their careers.

What You'll Be Doing:
Real Estate & Litigation
  • Assist with foreclosure defense, quiet title, partition, and related litigation
  • Participate in real estate transactions and short sale matters
  • Attend court appearances, closings, and client meetings
  • Gain exposure to negotiation strategy, litigation procedure, and high-volume case management

Bankruptcy Practice

  • Manage Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters from intake through discharge
  • Draft petitions, schedules, motions, and related filings
  • Appear at 341 meetings, hearings, and court proceedings
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding timelines, strategy, and expectations
  • Work closely with trustees, opposing counsel, and court staff

What Makes This Opportunity Different

  • Real Mentorship & Training - You will work directly with experienced attorneys who are invested in helping you develop professionally, not just assigning tasks and disappearing. We are committed to mentoring newer attorneys who demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic.
  • Hands-On Experience Early - You won't spend years stuck doing document review. You'll gain immediate courtroom exposure, client interaction, negotiation experience, and case ownership.
  • Growth Potential - We are actively expanding and want attorneys who want to grow with the firm long-term. As the firm grows, so will opportunities for increased compensation, leadership, and autonomy.

Support Staff Infrastructure

You'll be supported by an experienced operations and administrative team, allowing you to focus on practicing law and developing your skillset.
