Description:

Our growing multi-state creditor law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 5 years of legal experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term practice within a sophisticated, established creditor-rights firm serving clients throughout the Southeast.

Our practice is broad and diverse, providing attorneys with exposure to a wide range of creditor and financial-services matters, including:

Creditor litigation and commercial litigation
Debt collection and judgment enforcement
Mortgage foreclosure
Title curative and real estate matters
Auto finance and vehicle recovery matters
Creditor representation in bankruptcy
General lender, servicer, and financial-institution representation

The ideal candidate is a motivated, practical, and business-minded attorney who is comfortable managing matters independently while working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school
Approximately 5 years of legal experience; creditor-rights, litigation, collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or financial-services experience preferred
Active license in at least one state in the Southeast; additional state licenses are a plus
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage a substantial caseload and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
Professional judgment and a client-service mindset
