Our growing multi-state creditor law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 5 years of legal experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term practice within a sophisticated, established creditor-rights firm serving clients throughout the Southeast.Our practice is broad and diverse, providing attorneys with exposure to a wide range of creditor and financial-services matters, including:
- Creditor litigation and commercial litigation
- Debt collection and judgment enforcement
- Mortgage foreclosure
- Title curative and real estate matters
- Auto finance and vehicle recovery matters
- Creditor representation in bankruptcy
- General lender, servicer, and financial-institution representation
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Approximately 5 years of legal experience; creditor-rights, litigation, collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or financial-services experience preferred
- Active license in at least one state in the Southeast; additional state licenses are a plus
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Professional judgment and a client-service mindset
