Description:

Yepremyan Law Firm is seeking an experienced Remote Associate Attorney to join our growing California Workers' Compensation Department. We are looking for a motivated litigator who is passionate about representing injured workers and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications:

Active California Bar license (required)
Minimum 2 years of California Workers' Compensation experience
Experience managing cases from inception through resolution
Experience taking and defending depositions
Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent organizational and case management skills

Responsibilities:

Manage a full caseload of California Workers' Compensation cases
Take and defend applicant, witness, and expert depositions
Appear before the WCAB for hearings, Mandatory Settlement Conferences (MSCs), trials, and other proceedings
Draft petitions, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
Maintain exceptional communication with clients throughout their cases
Collaborate with support staff to efficiently move cases toward successful resolution
