We are seeking an experienced and driven Litigation Associate to join our employment litigation team. The ideal candidate brings meaningful courtroom and deposition experience, the ability to independently manage a substantive caseload, and a collaborative spirit that strengthens the team around them. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a robust docket of employment litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial or resolution
  • Take and defend depositions with minimal supervision, including expert witnesses and corporate representatives
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
  • Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions, including motions for summary judgment
  • Develop and execute case strategy in coordination with supervising attorneys and clients
  • Conduct legal research and produce clear, persuasive written work products
  • Mentor junior associates and collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff
  • Maintain direct client relationships, providing strategic counsel and regular case updates
  • Monitor and manage deadlines across a high-volume docket with precision and efficiency

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California
  • 2–5 years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff, defense, or government)
  • Proven track record of court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
  • Ability to independently manage cases and exercise sound litigation judgment
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Collaborative team player with a professional and collegial approach
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines across a busy docket
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis) and case management software
