The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of bankruptcy and foreclosure matters on behalf of the firm's clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Bankruptcy and Foreclosure proceedings, including hearings and mediations.
- Review, prepare, and manage legal pleadings, motions, and related documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
- Ensure all actions are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active license and good standing with the Maryland and/or Virginia State Bar.
- 0–5 years of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Have a vehicle and willing to attend in person hearings
- Must reside in Maryland or Virginia.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client service.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable with respect to deadlines and attendance.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
