Maryland Lawyers is seeking a full-time Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing Litigation Department. The position offers significant opportunities for active, hands-on, client-facing involvement in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

Draft complaints, dispositive motions, discovery, and complex legal memoranda.
Support and collaborate with senior attorneys on a wide variety of commercial litigation cases.
Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis on case-related matters.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Actively participate in client meetings, hearings, and litigation strategy.
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
Present oral arguments in court and represent clients at hearings and trials.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of related work experience in a commercial litigation law firm.
Prior experience with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
Excellent communication, advocacy, analytical, and legal writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Maryland Bar required; District of Columbia and Virginia Bar admissions a plus.
