Description:
We are seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of litigation experience.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in collection and impound cases.
- Prepare legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and pleadings.
- Draft correspondence to opposing counsel.
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and Court personnel.
- Conduct settlement negotiations.
Position Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate.
- Member in good standing of Florida bar for minimum of 3 years.
- Experience in taking depositions and attending hearings. Experience with trials, including small claims.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
- Provides exceptional client service.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
- Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
