Social Security & Disability Lawyers is seeking a licensed attorney to work in the Appellate Department of a growing disability law firm. The attorney will work remotely writing arguments appealing administrative decisions. There will be little to no client contact.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will require little direct management. A background in Social Security Disability law or appellate work is helpful, but not required. The attorney must be willing to learn this new area of law if unfamiliar with the disability process.
Qualifications include:
- Active attorney license through a state bar association, preferably in MO, KS, or OK. - REQUIRED (open to additional state licenses)
- Experience with Social Security Disability law (preferred)
- Experience writing appeals (preferred)
