The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. Responsibilities:
  • Draft and file appellate briefs, motions, and petitions in state and federal appellate courts, ensuring persuasive legal writing and strict compliance with procedural rules.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and case analysis to develop effective appellate strategies and identify reversible error.
  • Review trial court records, transcripts, and rulings to assess appellate issues and preserve arguments for review.
  • Collaborate with trial attorneys and litigation teams to provide guidance on appellate considerations, issue preservation, and post-trial motions.
  • Prepare for and present oral arguments before appellate courts, representing clients with professionalism and strong advocacy.

Qualifications:
  • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
  • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
  • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
  • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years

Compensation:
$120,000
