Description
Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll is one of the largest plaintiff-side litigation firms in the country, with more than 100 attorneys working in a variety of practices across eight offices in the United States.  We champion the causes of workers, consumers, small business owners, investors, and whistleblowers - working to deliver corporate reforms and fair markets for the common good.  Our firm has earned an international reputation by litigating complex, high-stakes cases, many of which have resulted in landmark decisions on previously novel issues involving antitrust, securities, consumer rights, civil rights, employee benefits, human rights, and other far-reaching matters.

Cohen Milstein is currently accepting applications for junior associates to join its Antitrust Practice Group either now or in the fall of 2026. The positions are preferably based in our Washington, D.C. office, but the group is open to having associates work in our New York office. Attorneys with no more than four years of litigation or clerkship experience are encouraged to apply. More information on the practice can be found on our website at www.cohenmilstein.com.

A strong academic background with excellent writing skills and analytic ability is required, as is the ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Applicants must be able to take a leading role in discovery, including depositions and motion practice, researching and writing briefs, and at trial. Federal clerkship experience is highly valued.

To be considered, please submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcripts and a writing sample. If you wish to be considered for a position in our Washington, D.C. or New York office, please specify location in your cover letter. Application materials should be submitted in the order outlined above, and as a single PDF document.

Candidates must be either (1) an active member of the state bar where the employment is based, or (2) eligible and willing to apply for that membership within 90 days of employment at the firm.

We offer a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The expected annual salary range (excluding bonus) for this position is between $160,000 and $184,000.  Actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors. You will be eligible to receive a year-end bonus, the issuance and amount of which are discretionary and dependent upon the Firm's profitability.
