Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administrative Law Associate Attorney to join our renewable energy and environmental law practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative law, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients in renewable energy and environmental regulatory matters.

Duties:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Assist in administrative law processes by preparing case files, organizing evidence, and participating in discovery.
  • Provide guidance on energy and environmental law & regulations.
  • Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients to reach favorable settlements or agreements.
  • Maintain organized records within the law office to ensure efficient case management.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client consultations.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut bar.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy, environmental, and administrative law, and Siting Council appeals to the Connecticut Superior Court.
  • Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively.
  • Prior legal administrative experience is mandatory.
