About the Team:
Our Global Monetization Product and Technology Legal team supports A Video-Sharing Social Networking Service Company's innovative and state-of-the-art advertising products, including the partnership deals that power many of them. We're growing fast and seeking a highly experienced, bright, and capable attorney with substantial tech transactions experience, ideally with ad tech expertise. This is an opportunity to lead strategic partnership deals that have a massive, global impact. Partners include: measurement partners that provide independent reporting on A Video-Sharing Social Networking Service Company as an advertising platform, CRM partners, partners that provide unique capabilities such as privacy-enhancing technologies, partners that drive organic engagement on A Video-Sharing Social Networking Service Company, and partners that ensure robust marketing data.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic data deals with partners from inception to completion
  • Provide legal assessment and options on contractual issues to business teams, to enable and facilitate decisionmaking
  • Identify key legal issues in deals that often revolve around ad tech, regulatory compliance, data flows and custodianship, and privacy
  • Analyze contractual requirements with a critical eye and provide product counseling guidance
  • Project manage collaborations with a wide range of internal business and legal stakeholders
  • Draft contracts and lead live negotiations representing A Video-Sharing Social Networking Service Company

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school with membership in good standing in a US State Bar
  • Deep experience in drafting and negotiating complex, high-stakes tech transactions. Or deep ad tech product counseling experience
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Comfortable tracking, prioritizing, and managing numerous detailed tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in private practice with a highly regarded firm handling a high volume of tech transactions
  • In-house experience handling transactions of the types listed at "About the team" above
  • In-house ad tech, data, privacy experience
