Steptoe LLP seeks a 2L Summer Associate with an interest in joining the Firm's Telecom & Technology practice group in our Washington, DC office for the 2027 Summer Associate Program. The Telecom & Technology Practice Group represents some of the world's leading and most innovative corporations and organizations in the internet, telecommunications, and media sectors on a wide array of matters. Our attorneys often engage in high-profile, complex regulatory and litigation proceedings before federal agencies, state tribunals, and federal and state courts.About the Program
Steptoe's 10-week Summer Associate Program is one of the most important elements of the firm's recruitment effort. The summer program offers a well-rounded overview of the firm's practices and exposes summer associates to substantive legal work, aimed at providing a realistic view of life as an associate at Steptoe from day one. During the summer, the Summer Associate will participate in trainings, work day-to-day with highly recognized attorneys, and build relationships that will be essential to their career.

- Experience or demonstrated interest in matters involving the FCC, FCBA, or other regulatory agencies
- Proven track record of academic and professional excellence
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership qualities and personal initiative

Compensation for this position is based upon an annualized salary of $225,000.
