Steptoe LLP seeks a 2L Summer Associate for our 2027 Summer Associate Program in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group in our Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC offices.IP Summer Associates work closely with nationally recognized attorneys, gaining hands-on experience and building professional relationships essential to a successful legal career. Steptoe's 10-week program offers substantive exposure to our patent practice, with opportunities to focus on patent litigation and related IP Matters.
Location-Specific Degree Requirements:
- Chicago – A bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical discipline (engineering, physical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or related field) – required
- New York – A bachelor's or advanced degree in a life sciences discipline (biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related field) - required
- Washington, DC – No technical degree required
