Robins Kaplan LLP is looking for a bright and motivated 2L law student to join our highly regarded 2027 Summer Associate Program in our Boston Office. Our ideal candidate desires to become an elite trial lawyer, possesses a record of academic excellence, takes initiative and ownership over work assignments from a variety of practice groups, enjoys being challenged and retains a strong work ethic.

We have designed our summer program with a few primary goals in mind— introducing law students to our firm and what life as an Associate will be like and helping students improve as legal writers, thinkers, and advocates. As a Summer Associate, you will:
  • Develop advocacy skills by participating in a mock arbitration in our courtroom—guided by some of our firm's most skilled trial lawyers;
  • Help ensure equal access to justice by working on pro bono cases;
  • Work with our attorneys on substantive assignments related to billable matters;
  • Participate in our writing mentorship program;
  • Accompany our lawyers to trials, hearings, depositions, negotiations, and client meetings.
