A Premier Full-Service Law Firm Summer Program is distinctive. We see our students as part of our team, with the Summer Program inaugurating their A Premier Full-Service Law Firm career. We are committed to individual creativity combined with a spirit of collaboration, as well as provide a supportive and challenging atmosphere for our Summer Associates to learn and grow. Our Summer Program is designed to be the first step of Associate development and lays the groundwork for a prosperous and rewarding career with our Firm.We believe the best way to learn is through first-hand experience and exposure to real legal work and events. Our Summer Associates have contact with our clients and are regularly included in conference calls and out-of-office proceedings such as court appearances and depositions. Summer Associates are also invited to attend all Firm training sessions, practice group meetings and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars.
During the summer, our lawyers conduct workshops to help the Summer Associates expand their skills through legal writing classes and other practice-specific trainings. Our attorneys also provide meaningful feedback to Summer Associates on their work product, including a mid-summer check-in and an end-of-summer review. We encourage Summer Associates to choose a practice area of interest, and our team makes a deliberate effort to ensure they are exposed to work within that practice area during their time with us.
We also intentionally connect our Summer Associates with Associate and Partner mentors to help facilitate a rewarding and fun experience that is truly unique to A Premier Full-Service Law Firm.
