Job Description:Miles & Stockbridge, a mid-Atlantic based Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced real estate associate to join its transactional finance real estate practice, in our Washington, DC office. The candidate would support our traditional real estate and lender finance practice as well as our public finance practice. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience as a real estate or real estate finance associate. Ideal candidates will have experience: (i) representing local, regional and national developers with customary acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and related real estate transactions, including experience reviewing title and survey; (ii) representing financial institutions in a variety of lending transactions including real estate secured financing and other commercial loans; and/or (iii) assisting on public finance transactions serving in the capacity of bond counsel, underwriters' counsel, lender's counsel or developer's/borrower's counsel where municipal bonds are issued to support projects for 501(c)(3) organizations, infrastructure or public private partnerships. Attorney responsibilities will include working with partners on complex real estate and finance transactions, drafting and negotiating real estate and loan documents and other transaction documents, and due diligence review.

JD required. Bar admission or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction where the office is located is required.
