Job Overview:Fast-paced, national, award-winning plaintiff litigation firm MCDONALD WORLEY, with a proven record of success, is looking to add a newly licensed attorney to help with their Workers Compensation docket and the personal injury pre-lit docket. This position will include all aspects of workers' compensation claims and some personal injury claims. This firm has a commitment to excellence, serving injured victims nationwide. The firm has a tv show based on how they work up cases for trial entitled “Power of Attorney: Don Worley” which was on the Discovery Channel and now streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime. This attorney position is onsite at their Houston, TX office location.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be licensed in Texas and in good standing
- Good writing skills
- Fast learner
- Must have case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have superior organizational skills with great follow through
- Must have solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Must be able to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated
- Must have a team first attitude
- Any experience with workers' compensation helpful but not necessary
- Spanish a plus but not required
