We are seeking an experienced Worker's Compensation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a collaborative environment, manage a diverse caseload, and make a meaningful impact by defending employers and insurance carriers in complex claims.What You'll Do:
- Represent employers and insurance carriers in worker's compensation cases from inception through resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations, advocating effectively on behalf of clients.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and all parties involved.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel on worker's compensation matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience in worker's compensation defense litigation
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
