Position Overview:
Schlossberg & Umholtz is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of legal experience. Recent Bar graduates are encouraged to apply, as we provide comprehensive training to help you grow into the role. While experience in workers' compensation law is preferred, it is not required.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent analytical skills, and a genuine passion for guiding clients through complex legal matters. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services and secure favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information and build strong cases.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance throughout the claims process.
  • Stay current on developments in workers' compensation law and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
  • 1–3 years of legal experience preferred. Recent Bar graduates are encouraged to apply, as we welcome the opportunity to train motivated candidates who are new to the field.
